2010 Olympics

I have been watching a lot of the Olympics I have really enjoyed watching them so far.

Excellent movies

I went and saw these movies we went to Avatar on New years eve and I took my mom to Blindside on New Years day what great movies they are. If you have not seen them yet you should go you will not be disappointed.

Update on myself

Sorry it has taken me forever to update my blog I just get in a blogging slump and it takes me while to get out of it. I am still doing online classes with University of Phoenix I cannot believe that I have been in school for 5 months seems like I just started. I am currently working on my young women medallion as a young women leader. I am almost done. My goal is to be done by the end of April.

Update on Richard

Richard has gone a full year Jan. 20th with out any hospital visits for his pancreas. the last time he has had any pancreas attacks was the end of July. He hasn't had any problems since. I think it is because of his job change. I think this job he had out here at plastic inc was the "main problem". He really likes his job at Icon as a fork lift driver. He has been there since Sept. 30th and the little car we bought for $300.00 for him to commute back and forth is still going strong and getting great gas mileage.

I have decided to use my digital camera more that i got for Christmas couple of years ago and I have joined a camera club here in town. I have really enjoyed going out and taking pictures. Last month our camera club went on a field trip there were only just few us that showed up but we still had a lot fun. I have posted few pictures that I like. The 2 bottom pictures I have had them matted and framed and have them hanging in my home office. I hope to continue taking a lot more pictures and learning how to use my camera more.

Christmas

we had a good Christmas the kids came home and we slept till 10 am. Which is way nice now that the kids are older they sleep longer. I have posted few pictures of my nephews kids from our family Christmas party we had in Mendon. Since my kids think they are to big to sit on Santa's lap i have to use my cute little great niece's and nephews.

Thanksgiving

we had a good Thanksgiving Richard cooked the Turkey in the smoker and it was my first time cooking yams. We had Richards family come for dinner we had good time visiting and eating. Richard wanted me to take a picture of the turkey so I had to take a picture of my yams.

Kelli's Birthday

Wow my baby girl has turned "20" November 7th, I cannot believe she is that old already. Seems like yesterday she was just little girl.

September rap up

Richard got a job at Icon as a forklift driver in Logan of which I am grateful for. We purchased a little commuter car for him to drive back in forth in hopes to save us in gas. It is nothing special, it was in our price range and we took it, we have had to do few things to it. Richard says he has it running good and it should be a good car. We also went to Tuckers blessing first part of September, I hope I have not forgot anything that we have done for the last 3 months. Hopefully it won't take me so long to update next time.

Happy Anniversary 26 years

Well I am going to embarrass myself and Richard to but that is ok for he won't read this. We celebrated our 26th Anniversary on Sept. 30th. I cannot believe it has been that long. Seems just like yesterday we were just getting married. My love for him grows even more everyday. I think it really grew last year when he had health problems and I had to take care of him. He may think I didn't have to take care of him but I did. We have 2 beautiful daughters and I cannot wait for the day that he wakes up and decides that it is time to go through the Temple, to make us an eternal family.

Happy Birthday Richard and Britini

It was Richards Birthday on Sept. 13 and we just celebrated it at my family party. Britini's birthday was on Sept. 23rd I can not believe she is 24 just blows me away. We took her out to dinner at the new Texas Road House, we had a great time.

Family Get Together

My mom's side of the family all got together on September 13th of which this is Richards Birthday as well. We meet at the park in Providence and had a great time visiting, eating and playing little baseball. It was so nice to see my uncle and aunt and their family that we don't get to see very often. I just love getting together as a family.

September 2009 - Canning

well as most you know from facebook I have been busy this month doing a lot of canning and I also went over to the cannery and did 42 cans of chicken. As you can see in the picture I have also done salsa, peaches, zucchini apple slices and peach jam and cherry jelly.

September 2009 - Fishing

Richard got layed off first part of September so he did little fishing here are few pictures of one of his fishing trips.

August 2009

I made a huge decision in August I registered to get an associates degree in Business with the University of Phoenix. I had been thinking about going back to school for long time and when I read this months visiting teaching message, the title of the message was " Seek Education and Lifelong learning" wow talk about hit the nail right on the head I knew as soon as I got done reading the whole message that I needed to get signed up right away. I also really liked this quote " Lifelong learning is essential to the vitality of human mind, body, and soul. It enhances self-worth and self actuation. Lifelong learning is invigorating mentally and is a great defense against aging, depression and self doubt". I really didn't know what to study so as I was searching through the online programs I thought that Business might be interesting where I am currently a Mortgage Broker/ Contract Processor. I am not saying when I am done that I will be changing jobs or anything I just wanted to do this just cause I can and that I should continue my Education. It has been quite the process and some days I wonder just what the heck I have done to myself. But I know the end results will be great.

Family Camping 2009 at Emigration Camp Ground

Wow its been long time since I have updated my blog, So I will try my best to not to forget anything that has happened since the last time I posted. Every year we get together as a family and go camping this year we went over the 4th of July we had a great time and we also had a little surprise happen to us while we were there. TJ and Amy ended up having little Tucker on the 3rd of July so they were only able to be with us for just a short time.

Fishing

We took my nephew Bryant's little boy Braxton fishing a week ago or so he caught alot of blue gills but he kept saying he wanted to catch the big fish like uncle Richard. So when ever Richard hooked a fish he would let Braxton reel it in. we even saw a turtle while we were fishing. can't wait till I can go fishing again. Maybe I will be able to catch something instead of being the person taking the bluegills off the hook, and throwing them back in the water so Braxton can catch another one.
